UModeler X UI

UModeler X has three main modes: Modeling mode, Rigging mode, and Painting mode.

When initially opened from the Inspector panel, it defaults to Modeling Mode.

Modeling Mode

Modeling mode, you perform tasks such as creating and modifying shapes.

After selecting a Primitive shape or Drawing, you drag to create the base and then move the mouse to set the height of the object.

Objects created like this can be modified by changing the values in the Tool Properties.

Painting Mode

Painting mode allows you to add colors to objects with UVs created like this.

You can add layers to draw desired colors or load textures.

You can use brushes in the Scene view to paint or use paint 2D to draw on a 2D plane.

Rigging Mode

Rigging mode involves rigging bones to characters or objects and assigning them so that the object moves according to the bone's movement.

You can create bones or assign modeling to bones using tools.

UV Editor

UnityInterface-UModelerX-UI_UV-Editor3 UV refers to the 2D layout of a 3D object's surface, which is used to apply colors or materials.

The UV editor is where you can create and modify these UV maps.

The Painting 2D window allows you to paint in 2D mode instead of the 3D view when you are in painting mode.
