Rebind Poses Tool

Rebind Poses Tool

The Rebind Poses Tool is a tool that resets the position and rotation of bones.

This is the tool to use when you just want to move the position of a bone without moving vertices, which can be useful when the bone is in a position that is offset from the object.

note

When editing a bone to move or rotate with a gizmo, if the vertices associated with the bone move or rotate with it, the vertices will be repositioned. If you then run the Rebind Poses tool, the position of the bone will remain moved and the vertices will return to their original positions. Rebind Poses Tool Note

During the process, the vertices appear to have moved, but in the end, the bone remains moved.
