Plane Tool
The Plane tool in the UV Editor is a tool that stretches the selected faces in a set projection.
How to Use
- Select the face to be stretched.
- Launch the Plane tool.
- Set the desired projection in the Projection Axis property.
Click
on the Unwrap property.- The UV face has been stretched to match the projection method you set.
Properties
Individual
This property sets the selected faces to unfold individually.
Projection Axis
Property that sets the projection method.
Normal
This property sets the projection to the average normal orientation of the selected faces.
View
This property sets the projection to the direction you are currently looking.
X
This property sets the projection to the direction of the world's X-axis.
Y
This property sets the projection to the y-axis direction of the world.
Z
This property sets the projection method to the z-axis direction of the world.
